Time to go back to New England to enjoy the holiday season. This time as a family of 4.

Today, I added a new link to the collection of contact links at the top of the site: my new GitHub profile. I created it just to publish a small piece of software that I am tired to write over and over again. It is just a wrapper for TCP-based connections, using TcpListener and TcpClient

An end of summer escapade, very much needed after a few tough months of COVID-19.

It is surprising the number of times I’ve been asked this question. Either somone is starting to study computer science in the university and they are looking for advice, or thinking about expanding their programming toolbox, the question is always there, and it is not a trivial one.

For the second part of this trip, we hit the road to visit Washington DC, the states of New York, Vermont and Massachusetts to finish our trip in the historic Boston.

Why does it seem so inviting? Following Vernon Duke’s standard we head to the big apple for an autumn getaway and see the “glittering crowds and shimmering clouds in canyons of steel”.
