Today, I added a new link to the collection of contact links at the top of the site: my new GitHub profile.
I created it just to publish a small piece of software that I am tired to write over and over again. It is just a wrapper for TCP-based connections, using TcpListener and TcpClient under the hood. Maybe in the future I could implement it using Sockets directly, but I needed something quick.
Since I was there, I added some discovery and disconnection detection features, but it is quite primitive for now.
I called it YACS.NET (Yet Another Communicatoin System for .NET) and it is published under Apache License 2.0. You are free to use it anywhere, just keep in mind it is not production ready.
